I am grateful for those who look out for those who need help getting out of an abuse situation. I have my own heroes who helped me get out. That is why I was both triggered as well as touched as doTERRA CEO David Stirling introduced the partnership with the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation* and Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R). David Stirling shared his experience with learning about O.U.R and going on a JUMP mission. He then introduced Founder and CEO of O.U.R Tim Ballard.
As Tim Ballard spoke I was heartbroken. I knew I wanted to help raise awareness. Since O.U.R began in December 2013 they have gathered the world’s experts in extraction operations and in anti-child trafficking efforts with their Jump Team consists of former CIA, Navy SEALs, and Special Ops operatives. Their teams coordinated identification and extraction efforts to bring an end to child slavery in conjunction with law enforcement throughout the world. Their mission does not end with the rescue. Once victims are rescued, they have a comprehensive process involving justice for the perpetrators and recovery, and rehabilitation for the survivors begins.
On Wednesday, September 28th at 3:30 pm MDT on Facebook, Operation Underground Railroad’s Founder and CEO Tim Ballard will be presenting a special message to O.U.R. supporters around the world. The live event will also include operation updates, special stories from the field, aftercare efforts and much more.
In addition, The Abolitionists is a feature film documentary about Operation Underground Railroad which will be released digitally soon.
