I Am Not a Victim I Am in the Driver Seat

Update 10/08/24

For too long, I allowed myself to believe that I was powerless—a victim of my circumstances. But the day I realized that I hold the power to change my story was the day everything shifted. It wasn’t easy, and it didn’t happen overnight, but I decided to step into the driver’s seat of my life, determined to chart a new course. On my path of healing and growth I have gotten myself some amazing mentor to support me along the way.

I am not my past. I am not my pain. I am the one steering the ship now.

I have also been taking mentoring programs from Kirk & Kim Duncan at 3 Key Elements. These techniques have taught me how to get the negative beliefs out of my body and replace them with positive ones. As I have done these techniques, they have helped me mentally and emotionally take control—truly allowing me to be in the driver’s seat of my life and create something new. In this short video, Kirk teaches some techniques that help us move from feeling like a victim to confidently stepping into the driver’s seat.

In this short video Kirk will teaches some techniques that helps us move from the being a victim to the driver seat.

Taking control of my life meant facing my inner demons—those emotions and experiences I had buried deep within. They had been silently dictating my reactions, my beliefs, and ultimately, my path. But I learned that just as I could take the wheel, I could also lighten my load. That’s when I found Discover Healing.

Through techniques like Emotion Code and Body Code, I began to uncover and release the trapped emotions that were weighing me down. These healing methods allowed me to confront the emotions I had buried for so long, giving me the freedom to let them go. With each release, I felt a little lighter, a little more in control, and a lot more empowered.

Discover Healing taught me that I wasn’t just holding onto my emotions—they were holding onto me. Releasing them allowed me to reclaim the power I had given away, sometimes unknowingly, to past hurts and limiting beliefs. It wasn’t just about healing my past; it was about opening up my future.

Now, I am more grounded, more present, and more aligned with who I truly am. I am not just surviving—I am thriving. And every day, I continue to remind myself that I am in control. I have the power to choose my thoughts, release what no longer serves me, and move forward on the path I create.

So, to anyone who feels like life has taken them off course—remember, you are the one holding the keys. You are not a victim. You are in the driver’s seat.

Please remember everyone has his or her own journey. No one experience abuse exactly the same. We each have our own triggers and my intent is to aid in the healing process and it is to add awareness to a growing problem not cause anxiety or pain. Our experience may be similar but they are each unique. Even though many people could have been at the same event each person experiences and remembers those events through our own eyes and will recall the event differently. My blogs will be from my perspective of my life I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. I am not a Doctor, Counselor or Therapist. I believe it is important to work with Doctors, Counselors, and Therapist along with Energy Healing, Essential Oils and spirituality to find health, healing and balance.
